Description

Yay role playing! :iconexcitedplz:

It made me want to draw some BixDra fluff. And then I failed at the fluff and I wanted something where Bix is leaning in on her, smirking deviously ...and that kindda fell through as well...so it is what it is. Something that lays between fluff and something devious. P:

So yeah, it's a fun RP that's revealing a lot of stuff about Bix/Tabias, and its even getting him to act a bit more emotional than usual~

I'm happy with the coloring. I found a useful little feature of photoshop.

Finally! I've been searching all night for a picture that shows the side of a rose instead of just the top of it.
This small detail shows that you're well on your way to getting the hang of everything else there is to a really fantastic digital piece of art! I really enjoy how well you have displayed the gravity of the girl’s hair, and the expression on the boy is really lovely as well.
I would recommend using a reference picture for the girl’s expression to improve there, as she is seemingly staring at his forehead. When a girl is in shock over a boy going in for a kiss, she will generally lock onto his eyes, in a silent plea of either stop or go. Other then her eye, the expression and posture is lovely. The only thing that seems a bit off is "where did the rose come from?” Was it in her hair? Was it behind her ear?
The boy needs just small adjustments on body proportion, but most of us spend all our time trying to master that, I always find using a reference picture for a couple attempts helps before I post my piece.
Last but not least, a focus on shading. The trick for me seems to be looking at the best works I can find and seeing how they're shading theirs. You've got a great start here!
Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
